Mifare DESFire
Is the multi-application module with DES and 3DES security. The DESFire
was primarily designed for secure contactless transport applications
and related loyalty programs. This module would most likely be chosen
when other commercial applications will be run on a card chosen for
transport. An intelligent anti-collision mechanism allows more than one
card to be in the field simultaneously, the anti-collision algorithm
selects each card individually and ensures that the execution of a
transaction with a selected card is performed correctly without data
corruption from the other cards in the field.
